Dr Ronan Clancy

MB BCh BAO MICGP DCH DRCOG Dip Derm

Dr Clancy studied medicine at University College Dublin graduating in 2004. After internship in St Vincent’s University and St Columcilles hospitals Dublin, he travelled to Sydney Australia to work and gather further experience in the Australian healthcare system. Before concluding his overseas travel, he worked as a volunteer surgeon in Nepal with renowned children’s charities Smile Train and Interplast. Ronan returned to Ireland in 2007 to commence four years vocational training on the Royal College of Surgeons GP training programme and was conferred Membership of The Irish College of General Practitioners in 2011.

Ronan has a special clinical interest in Dermatology and Minor surgery and holds an internationally accredited higher Diploma in Dermatology and qualifications in skin surgery. Ronan also holds the clinical Assistant in dermatology position at Mayo General Hospital where he covers weekly consultant led dermatology clinics. Ronan believes that a healthy work life and exercise balance is the corner stone for good general and psychological health.
